Living :
This is a dedicated four-sided living space intentionally designed to unify the family and maximize guest capacity. A long sofa lounge is custom-built to perfectly fit along the entire length of the window wall, ensuring ample, comfortable seating for both daily use and larger social gatherings.
Foyer :
The foyer functions as a warm, functional entry point. It features built-in shoe cabinets coupled with a dedicated seating area for comfortably wearing shoes. A striking element is the subtle, recessed lighting installed underneath the seating or cabinets, which reflects onto the flooring to create an immediate, welcoming "entrance welcome" glow.
Dining :
Blending minimalism with a cozy cottage aesthetic, the dining area is the home's central hub. The space is intentionally kept seamless and centralized by the inclusion of a clever hidden door concealed behind the main dining wall, providing private access to the kitchen without disrupting the area's clean, unified look.
Kitchen :
The kitchen adopts a functional yet stylish design. A unique feature is the use of two cool and neutral-toned bohemian tiles on the central wall. This carefully selected pattern provides a vibrant focal point and is specifically chosen to complement and harmonize with the family's fridge magnets and overall decor.
Master Bedroom :
Designed in a Minimalist Scandi-Cottage style for tranquility and convenience, the master suite includes a strategically placed access point: an integrated door that provides easy, direct access to the adjacent dressing room. This ensures seamless flow between the sleeping and preparation areas, enhancing privacy and the overall usability of the suite.
The Jalan Membina project is a study in quiet efficiency, successfully blending cottage-inspired warmth with strict minimalist principles. The design excels in creating hidden functionality—from the custom living area and the seamless entry to the clever hidden kitchen door—ensuring the home is both inviting for guests and perfectly tailored for private, organized family living.
